Steve D. Balkun of West Street, Cromwell, died Tuesday at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. He was 49.
He was born in Middletown. He was employed at Pratt & Whitney as a machinist.
He is survived by his mother, Olga Cihocki Gorey of Cromwell, and a friend, Leon Klick.
The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours are at the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, Friday from 8 to 8:45 a.m.
