Charles "Butch" Kott
1946 - 1968
Sergeant Charles Bruce Kott, 21, of 94 Lawrence St., died May 2, while serving with the U.S, Air Force in Thatland.
Born in St. Claire, Mich., he lived In the Hartford area most of his life, He was a graduate of Cromwell High School, class of 1964. He enlisted in the U.S. AIr Force in August of 1964 and was sent to Vietnam in June of 1967.
He leaves his parents, August A. Kott and Murlel McQuillan Kott of East Hartford, two sisters, Mrs, Saundra Patria and Miss Linda S. Kott, both of East Hartford; his paternal grandmother, Mrs, Dorothy Kott of New Baltimore, Mich; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth McQuillan of Taunton, Mass.
Funeral services were held this morning at the Benjamin J, Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main St. East Hartford, with a Requiem High Mass at St. Mary's Church, Burlal was in the Veteran's Memortal Field, Hillside Cemetery here.
