Mildred M. (McCarthy) Young, 89, of Cromwell died Saturday, (November 23, 2002) at Wadsworth Glen Health Care Center. She was the widow of Robert E. Young. She was born in New York City and had lived in Yonkers, N.Y. for many years and had worked as a cafeteria worker at Cromwell High School for 29 years. She was the daughter of John and Teresa (Hoefeld) McCarthy.
