Lorraine O. Silvester, 79, of Main St., Cromwell, wife of the late Ralph Silvester, died on Saturday (April 11, 1998) at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Arden and Evelyn (Berry) Orefice. Mrs. Silvester lived in Cromwell for the past 58 years and had worked in the cafeteria at the Cromwell High School for 35 years, and was a member of St. John Church in Cromwell. She is survived by four daughters, Maria E. and her husband, Frank Smith, of Jacksonville, FL, Olivia Nodden of Old Saybrook, Renee Silvester of Middle Haddam and Diane and her husband, Gene Allegretti, of Cromwell; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at St. John Church, Cromwell, on Tuesday (April 14, 1998), at 11:30 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
