The reunion will be June 10th 2006, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Sunrise Resort in Moodus. Directions to the resort can be found on their website
There are a lot of rooms and cabin sites at the facility for anyone who wants to spend the night. Those plans have to be made in advance. You can see the facilities at the
Sunrise Resort website.
If anyone wishes to stay at the resort overnight: campsites with or without hookups $30, cabins with 1 or 2
double beds $72, and newly renovated waterfront cabins with a queen and a single bed are $85.
It will be for the years 1959 - 2002. [note that this is a change in the span of years to include 2002] There will be no children, but anyone who went to school with us may come even if they graduated from another school. And of course everyone will love to see pictures of children and grandchildren.
It is BYOB and $50 per person for the use of the whole resort, 5 hours of food (lunch and supper) and Music with DJ. Responses need to be back to the committee by June 1, 2006 and there can be no tickets on the day of the reunion as the resort needs a head count a week before.
There will be a place for each class to meet.
One or two classes plan to have their own get togethers after 6pm.
If anyone wants to do it, it would be fun for each class to have a poster board display of what it was like in their "year".
We will also have a board if anyone has photos of deceased classmates.
We would love to know what each year's class song was.
There is going to be a softball (or Nerf ball, or whiffle ball) game.
The plans will be going into the Cromwell Chronicle at a later date.
