John Ireton
1962 - 2013
John Richard Ireton, 50, of Cromwell, passed away on Tuesday, January 22nd at home surrounded by his family. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Richard and Catherine (Monnes) Ireton of Cromwell. John has lived in Cromwell all of his life and was employed by the Town of Cromwell Public Works Department for eleven years.
Along with his parents, John is survived by three sons, Michael, Matthew and Mark Ireton, all of Cromwell; a daughter, Meghan Ireton of Cromwell; a brother, Daniel J. Ireton and his wife, Erin of Cromwell; a sister, Kathleen M. Ireton of Rocky Hill and a very special friend, Gary Brennan of Cromwell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 25th at 10:00am at St. John Church, 5 St. John Court, Cromwell. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Cromwell Hillside Cemetery West. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell and may send messages of condolence to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
