Louis Arthur DiStefano, 52, of Cromwell, died after a brief illness on Wednesday, June 29th surrounded by his family at UCONN Medical Center. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Patrick A. DiStefano, Sr. of Cromwell and the late Ann (Caso) DiStefano.
Louis had lived in Cromwell all of his life and was a member of St. John Church. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, motorcycles but most of all loved being around family and friends.
Besides his father, he is survived by three brothers, Alan DiStefano and his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" of Cromwell, Richard DiStefano and his wife, Sandra of Southington and Patrick "Patty" DiStefano, Jr. and his wife, Laura of Cromwell; his nephew, Zachariah A. DiStefano; and his niece, Chantal E. DiStefano, both of Southington.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7th at 10:00am at St. John Church, 5 St. John Court, Cromwell. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in West Cemetery in Cromwell.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell and in lieu of flowers, may make donations in Louis's memory to Rushford Center, Development Office, 1250 Silver Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
