1957 - 2017
Brian Donovan, formerly of Cromwell, CT, passed away on May 1st near his home in the San Francisco Bay Area, after a year long illness. He was 60 years old.
He leaves his daughter Elizabeth, his son Joseph, mother Virginia, brother Steve, nephew Jason and many cousins, relatives and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his father William, brother Bill and sister Marvie.
He moved to Los Angeles in 1980, where he became a general contractor, as well as a very fine musician, playing many gigs in and around LA, including a 6 month stint playing bass on the Princess Cruise Line. He also enjoyed sailing and flying. Married to Tamra in 1998, they relocated to the San Francisco Bay area in 2001.
Many thanks for the love and support from friends and family. Tamra, son Joseph and daughter Elizabeth will be bringing his ashes by airplane (he loved to fly) with pilot/chaplain Walt Johnson and co-pilot son Joseph (he has 60 hrs toward his license) to be scattered high above the Golden Gate Bridge. Rest In Peace
