~Thomas Wilkos '68 ~

WILKOS, Thomas S. Thomas S. Wilkos, 54, of Old Post Road, Tolland, died Thursday, (February 17, 2005) at Kimberly Hall South, in Windsor. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Francis E. and Mildred (Rhodes) Wilkos and had lived in Cromwell and East Hartford before moving to Tolland in 2003. Mr. Wilkos served during the Vietnam Era as a Quartermaster 3rd Class in the U.S.Navy. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft from 1978 to 1983 and Hamilton Sunstrand from 1983 until his death. He belonged to the Friends of Bill. He is survived by a sister, Frances E. Lutzen and her husband, Charles A. Lutzen, Jr. of Tolland; two nieces, Karen Larson and her husband, Matthew Larson of Vernon, Sherri Dressler and her fiance, Seth Robertson of Ellington; and two great nephews, Zachary and Alexander Larson. Funeral services will be held at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell, on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
