Mary Ann Gugliemino Patten
1950 - 2017

Mary Ann Patten, 66, of Cromwell, beloved wife of Irvine "Sonny" Patten, received her angel wings on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital with loved ones by her side, after a long, courageous battle against illnesses. Mary Ann was born in Middletown, one and only child of Frank and Philomena "Minnie" Gugliemino of Cromwell.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of almost 40 years Irvine "Sonny", and daughter Kaitlyn, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Mary Ann lived in Cromwell her whole life, where she graduated from Cromwell High School in 1968. She worked at Connecticut Light & Power for 38 years, and made countless friendships there that will last forever. She was an incredible wife, "Da Momma", Dr. Mommy, Mama P, Mrs. P, Mrs. Frosty-McBoomBoom, friend, sister-in-law, advice-giver, and so much more.

She loved going on adventures with family, visiting the beach, laughing with friends and family, and life in general. She enjoyed cooking, baking, trying new recipes, having fun, learning new things, and celebrating all things happy. Everyone she met ended up being part of her family, whether blood related or not.

Family and friends can call at D'Angelo's Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street in Middletown from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, September 14. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 15, at St. John's Church at 12 noon. Burial will be at St. Sebastian's Cemetery (75 Meriden Road, Middlefield/Rockfall) to follow.
