David Eugene Anderegg
1949-2011
David Eugene Anderegg, 61, of Cromwell, passed away on Monday, Jan. 10, at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Elizabeth (Smith) Anderegg of Cromwell and the late Oscar F. Anderegg.
David has lived in Key West and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., moving back to Cromwell 20 years ago. He was a machinist, and worked on cargo ships, enjoyed repairing and building wood boats, was a diver and had his captain's license for yachts. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing pool and darts.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Steven M. Anderegg and his wife, Debbie Green of Golden, Colo., Mark J. Anderegg and his wife, Sandra Milardo of Higganum, and Timothy M. Anderegg and his significant other, Nancy Selavka of East Hampton; three sisters, Linda Bonneau and her husband, Ronald of Cromwell, Debbie Anderegg of Middletown and Mary L. Miller and her husband, Dennis of East Hartford, and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours and in lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in David's memory to Middlesex Hospital c/o Department of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457 or www.middlesexhospital.org/donate.
