Anthony "Tony" J. Klaja Jr., 57, husband of Gisele Klaja passed away on Saturday, (May 21, 2005) at Mease Hospital in Dunedin, FL, after a long illness, with his loving family at his side. He was born March 8, 1948, in Middletown, son of the late Anthony J. and Stella (Kulmacz) Klaja. He attended Cromwell Schools and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the State of Conn. Department of Corrections. Besides being a loving father, he was a classic car collector and was involved in many of their clubs. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Anthony "John" J. Klaja III and his wife Kristen of Colchester; a daughter, Cynthia Klaja of Colchester; a sister, Dorothy Williams and her husband Stephen of Cromwell; also five grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, Amber, Taylor and Jack all of Colchester; a niece, Annette Polizonis of Cromwell; and a nephew, Thomas Williams of East Hampton; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins and stepchildren.
