"...we worked hard [on our garden] creating about a half dozen beds. I had delivered and wheeled 7 tons of Arkansas field stone (there is little natural stone here in Memphis) to surround the beds. I tried to create more of a New England look for the gardens with the field stone, having grown up in Connecticut and loving the old stone walls. The kids are in front of the herb garden, but you can't really tell due to all of the flowers blooming when it was taken during late Spring. We have a little over an acre with a spring fed creek running through the woods behind our house."
