Joan and her husband live in Virginia. They have two children, Tonya and Bradley, and one grandchild, Frank.
Joan had two sisters and a brother who graduated in the first and third classes from CHS. Fred was in the class of '61 and has a website, http://www.drsquat.com/. Her two sisters, Carol and Alice, and Carol’s husband, Hugh Hunt, all graduated in the first class of 1959. A bit of history trivia: Carol wrote the words to the CHS “Alma Mater” and Alice designed the school crest. As members of the first graduating class, they got to do cool things like that!
