Joan lives in Virginia and has two children, Tonya and Bradley, and one grandchild, Frank.

Joan had two sisters and a brother who graduated in the first and third classes from CHS. Fred was in the class of '61 and has a website, http://www.drsquat.com/. Her two sisters, Carol and Alice, and Carol’s husband, Hugh Hunt, all graduated in the first class of 1959. A bit of history trivia: Carol wrote the words to the CHS “Alma Mater” and Alice designed the school crest. As members of the first graduating class, they got to do cool things like that!

There were also two sisters and a brother who did not go to Cromwell schools. Below is a photo from Joan's daughter's wedding in 1998 showing her brothers and sisters (except Alice.)
