Marilyn Kilpatrick Mancarella
1942 - 2016


Marilyn R. Mancarella, 74, wife of Joseph F. Mancarella of Middletown, passed away at her home on February 14, 2016. She was born in Middletown on November 4, 1942, daughter of the late Howard and Constance (Siena) Kilpatrick.

Marilyn was retired from the Holy Apostle College and Seminary where she worked as the Financial Aid Director for over 20 years She was a member of St. Pius X Church and belonged to the Ladies Guild at the Holy Apostle Seminary. She is survived by her husband, Joseph F. Mancarella of Middletown, three daughters, Susan Orlacchio and her husband Lenny of Cromwell, Jodie Swanson and her husband Carl of Minnesota and Kathryn Mancarella of Middletown. She is also survived by a sister, Patricia Sullivan of Rocky Hill, as well as 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Howard Kilpatrick.

Family and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown, on Thursday from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM from the D'Angelo Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at the Holy Apostle Chapel in Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Holy Apostle College and Seminary, 33 Prospect Hill Rd, Cromwell, CT 06416.
