Laurie graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD (65) and received her Masters (+) Degree from UConn (69) in education. She taught 1st and 2nd grades in both Racine, WI and Springfield, IL. Tutored learning disabled students for many years while raising our family.

My husband, Art, and I will have been married 40 years this summer. We have a daughter, Suzanne (and husband, John, and grandson, Madison) and a son, Joe. We have lived in 12 different locations throughout the Midwest and Italy and currently reside in a gated, golfing community in Hudson, FL.

We enjoy golf, tennis, swimming, yoga, Bible study and travel.

I wish all my fellow classmates the very best!
